Part 1

When Kei woke up, she realized he’s feeling better, it’s rare for her to feel like that, because most of the time when she woke up, either she’s feeling too much pain in her chest or she’s already breathless and needs her oxygen mask. This time though, she’s being awakened by a gentle squeeze in her body. Who might this be? She got alarmed and opened her tired eyes. She was greeted by a white cloth. She blinked and realized that it’s the chest of someone! She looked up and saw Yabu’s face. How could this be?! How could Yabu be here in the hospital and ended up hugging her?

She moved a little, but Yabu hugs her tighter. She like this, the warmth and care that Yabu is giving to her, but she didn’t know how they ended up like this. Kei can’t even remember Yabu staying here. She pulled strongly this time, away from Yabu, that’s when she noticed she’s not in the hospital anymore. She looked around, but the place was not familiar to her.

“Ohayou, Hikaru.” Someone spoke behind and hugged her tightly.

Kei stunned with the way Yabu called her. ‘What is this guy talking about?!’

“Yabu, I-…” Kei realized that her voice is different, but it’s very familiar. She widened her eyes. “What’s happening? Where am I? What am I doing here?”

“Shhh..it’s fine Hikaru, calm down.” Yabu hugged her and caressed her back.

Kei pulled away and ran to one of the door in the room. It’s the bathroom and she’s glad it is. She looked at the mirror and what surprised her is that it’s not her face that the mirror is reflecting to her. She examined her whole self and this is really not her body. This is the body of her sister. She doesn’t know how but she’s really Hikaru now.

She saw a note at the right side of the mirror and she gets it.

A wish is fulfilled for a girl that’s longing to be love. You only got 72 hours to do everything that you want. After that, you’ll be back from the way things are like before.

72 hours are not enough for her, but she’ll not waste it. She’ll do everything she can for this time and after that, she can rest peacefully.

She brushed her teeth and took a shower. She wear the bath robe that’s hang in there and she went out of the bath room.

Yabu is there, waiting for her to come out. He smiled to her. She went close to Yabu and sit on his lap. He smells his wife’s scent and buried his nose on her neck. He stayed there for a while and pulled away.

“So, mind telling me why you’re panicking earlier?”

“Sorry, I was dreaming something bad.” Kei reasoned. She can’t afford to tell the truth to Yabu. She wants to be selfish for now. She wants Yabu to love him.

“Is it about Kei-chan?” Yabu asked her.

Kei just nods, she doesn’t know what to say anymore if Yabu will interrogate more. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard Yabu’s phone ringing. Yabu reached for his phone and answered it.

“What?! Are you serious?” Yabu asked in alarm manner, he looked to Kei.

“What happened?” she asked her husband.

“Okay, are you sure it’s fine?” Yabu continues his talk, Kei just stayed silent, doesn’t know what it is all about.

Yabu ended the call and put his phone back to the side table, he slowly looked at Kei, fixing his emotion.

“Hikaru,” Yabu called her.

She’s still not used with the way Yabu called her but she responded. “Hai?”

“Kei-chan is in coma. They don’t know why, but it may be the effect of stress and not wanting to live anymore.” Yabu continued.

“Not wanting to live anymore?” It’s true though. But if she’s in Hikaru’s body then where’s her nee-chan?

“Hikaru? Do you want to visit your sister?” Yabu asked Kei.

Kei contemplated what to do. She can’t bear to see her body lying in the bed.

“Takaki told me that we shouldn’t though. He said Kei wants us to enjoy the honeymoon that she planned for us.”

“I think, we should go to our honeymoon…” She answered Yabu.

Yabu looked disappointed at her but he still nodded. “Are you sure about that?”

“Yes, if this what makes Kei-chan happy, then we should fulfill it, don’t you think so?” She looked at her husband, waiting for his answer.

Yabu showed his no eyes smile and nodded.

“I’ll just take a bath and after that we’ll go to the airport already.” He said and entered the bathroom.

She realized that they’re in the hotel that she booked for Hikaru and Yabu. After that, this afternoon they’ll fly to London for their honeymoon.

She got up from the bed and looked outside. She looked at the sky and unconsciously touched her neck. She noticed that she’s wearing the star necklace that Yabu gave her, she smiled.

Just for now, let me be you Hikaru-neechan…
