Yamada’s POV

I was running, running after someone. I kept on calling him but he doesn’t turn his back on me. I’m screaming, I’m screaming for him not to leave me. He suddenly disappeared leaving me all alone. All alone in this grassy place….all alone….NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

“Ryo, Ryo-chan wake up, Ryooo!!” I heard someone waking me up from my night mare.

“Neechan, Neechan!! I don’t want to be alone!!” I throw myself to my older sister, I want her hug, I want her comfort, and I don’t want anyone to leave me.

“Shh, shhh, it okay Ryo-chan, Shh, I’m here” My sister comforted me. “What happened Ryo? What are you dreaming about?” she wiped my face with the towel.

“I d-dreamt about s-someone leaving m-me all alone i-in a very s-scary plac-ce, I tried to, I t-tried calling him but but he d-doesn’t he-hear me-me” I said to my sister, more tears flowing out of my eyes.

“Don’t think about it anymore okay? Kaa-san, Tou-san, Chihiro and I will always be here for you, we will never leave you alone.” My nee-chan said to me, her statement makes me smile.

“Really? Even if I lose my job and snatched away Nee-chan’s boyfriend?” I tried provoking her.

“Well, I don’t care if you lose your job, you’re too busy and don’t have any time to have rest, and you’re rich enough. Regarding my boyfriend, if you love him and he also loves you back, well I can’t do anything. Even though it hurts I’ll accept it because I love my younger brother.” Neechan pinched my cheeks and I only laughed.

“I don’t want Neechan to be hurt, so I’ll not snatched away your boyfriend~ Thank you Neechan, I love Neechan, you’re the best” I gave Neechan a kiss in her cheeks to show my gratitude.

“Thank You back” Neechan also kissed my cheeks. “Well, get up now and take a shower, we’ll be waiting for you downstairs to have breakfast together.” She ushered me to the bathroom.

“Okay~ Please make some strawberry milk for me~” I shouted from the bathroom.

It’s nice having a family to support me.

I was on my way to Jimusho when I received a mail from Yuto’s mother informing that Yuto’s at the hospital because a truck bumped on him on his way home from my house. I remember my dream, is Yuto leaving me behind?

I rushed to the hospital not minding the people I bumped. I’m afraid, afraid that Yuto will leave me alone. Yuto promised that he’ll stay with my side forever. What if he broke our promise? No.

I hysterically asked the nurses where Yuto is confined. They led me to his room, I was outside. I’m afraid, afraid how I will face him, afraid that he will not wake up, afraid that he will leave me on my own. I’m afraid, afraid to think that Yuto slightly entered my heart already, I’m afraid to lose my protector, afraid to lose the person who love me soo much for all these years, the person who’s willing to wait for me.

I broke down and cry in front of Yuto’s hospital room. I don’t know what I will do. 

“Ryosuke? What are you doing here, crying on the floor?” Someone asked me. I know that voice, but I thought? I launched myself into him and hugged him hard. I cried on his chest, feeling his warmth flowing into me.

“Come on Ryosuke, let’s go inside. You shouldn’t sit down there like that” Yuto supported me to go inside the room. He let me sit on his bed while he packed his things. “So tell me why are you crying like that? And why are you here?” He looked at my face.

“Nakajima-obaasan mailed me, he said you where bumped by a truck and currently at the hospital” I said to him while touching his hands putting it into my face. He’s obviously shocked with what I did. “I thought you will leave me alone, I thought you will break your promise, I thought ….” Yuto suddenly kissed me. A kissed full of love and longing, our first kiss.

“Shh, I’m sorry if I worry you too much.” He said after he breaks our kiss. He looked at me in the eyes surveying my thoughts.

“Please don’t worry me like that again, I can’t afford to lose you, you’re so special to me” I said to him, then I took the effort to lean on him and gave him a kiss. A kiss that is a sign that I’m willing, willing to finally give our relationship a chance.

Yuto’s POV

I can’t believe this. He kissed me, not just an emotionless kiss but a kiss with feelings. Finally, after all those years of waiting he’s ready to give our relationship a chance to blossom.

“Ryosuke..I..Thank You..I’m so happy” I can’t say anything coherent right now because in front me, my boyfriend is blushing.

“Yuto, I’m sorry if it took me so long but will you stay with me?” Yamada asked me with those rosy cheeks.

“Until the end” I gave his pouty lips a kissed. I like tasting his lips and finally I can taste it whenever I want to.

“Tell me, what happened with you” He asked curiously.

“Well, on my way home crossing the street, I suddenly feel dizzy and unexpectedly this boyfriend of yours fainted. Before I fainted I noticed a truck on my way and I didn’t have the chance to go away. Don’t worry I didn’t bumped into that truck, the driver is the one who sent me in the hospital by the way” I said to him while I gave him a pat in his head.

“Mou~ Why did you fainted?” he pouted on me.

“Uhm, I’m so tired, I carried my boyfriend on our way home, that’s why my body is so tired” I teased him.

“Baka!!” He pouted more.

“Hahaha, don’t worry about me it’s nothing serious okay?” I embraced him.

“Okay, but promise me from now on you’ll be more careful so you can protect me forever?” He beamed on me.

“I promise” I then kissed his forehead.

I don’t want to hide things from you Ryosuke, but for now I’ll be happy and give everything to you. I don’t know what will happened in the future but you’re the greatest gift god had given me. I want to have a forever with you.

“Why do you need to hide it from him Yuto?” Keito is listening outside the room. He’s the only person who Yuto trusted with everything. He just decided to let things be and walked out of the hospital.
