Summary: A promise of Ryutaro to Chinen.

Chinen looks outside his window observing how the cherry blossoms are blooming. The redness and pinkness of it indicates the start of spring, also it indicates his wedding day. He looks at his bed side table and saw his picture together with his old lover.

“Ryutaro…” Chinen holds the picture frame and smiles as he recalls the memories of them together, the memories that only him and Ryutaro know. Chinen went out of the house, still holding the frame and goes to garden where a big oak tree is planted. He sits down there and put his attention to the clouds.

“Ryutaro, will you come today? You said you will, right? It’s been five years now and everyday I’m missing you. I will get married today, make sure you come.” Chinen palmed the ground, relaxing as the wind soothes him.

“Yurrrrrriiiiiiiiii!! It’s already time to go!” Chinen’s mother shouted as she looked for her son inside the house.

Chinen stood up as he gave one last glance to the old oak tree. He smiles and hug the tree then he went to his room and changes to his tux for his wedding.

“Omedetou!” Yabu patted Chinen’s back as he congratulates the groom.

“Arigatou Yabu-kun” Chinen smiled

“Yeah, Chii, Omedetou. You’re the third one who got married in our group!” Keito exclaimed

“Don’t worry Katie~ I know you will follow next” Chinen winked which makes the English gentlemen blushed.

“You know, he’s happy for you” Yamada said as he walked together with Yuto and Inoo to the table for the reception of the wedding.

“Really? I’m still waiting for his surprise thoughhhhh~” Chinen whines

“It will arrive, he made a promise to you after all” Daiki patted Chinen’s head. “And you know Ryutaro, he never break his promise to you.” Takaki said as he poked Chinen’s blushy cheeks.

“But, this can be the last time Chii.” said Hikaru.

“I know..” Chinen smiled sadly.

“Yu-chan!” Chinen looked to the person that called him, her wife, and the girl that he married today.

“Mari, what’s wrong?” He went to where his wife is.

“This was sent here” Mari pointed to a large box. “The sender was unknown but it’s for you”

“I’ll handle this, you can go back to our table” Mari followed what Chinen said and returns to their table. Chinen looked at the cd that is attached to the large box.

“I think, you should watch that together with the people in here.” Shintaro appeared behind Chinen which gave the older male a curious look. “Nii-chan” said by the younger and Chinen understood what Shintaro means.

Chinen went in front of all the people who attended his wedding and bows, he gets the microphone and he begun talking.

“Minna, Thank You for all of you who attended my wedding. I’m very grateful to all of you that you spare your time for this special celebration. I thank my parents for supporting me all the way also to family-in-law and friends. Also I thank my wife Mari for understanding and loving me.” Chinen looked to Mari and gave her a wink which makes the people giggles. Chinen focused his attention again and continues to speak. “Actually before Mari there’s someone who got a special place in my heart and I admit that until now that someone is still occupying his part here” Chinen pointed his heart. “It’s been five years since the last time I saw him but he made a promise to me that he’ll be back after my wedding.” Chinen then shows the video tape on his hand to the people who are listening to him. “I want all of you to watch this together with me” Chinen smiled as he handed the cd to someone and it began playing.

Ryutaro appeared in the video, wearing the hospital gown. He looks weak but he’s smiling. Chinen got teary eyed as he focus his attention to the video, how much he miss that person!

‘Hi there my beautiful and bouncy squirrel!’ Ryutaro smiled as he waved his hands to the camera.

‘How are you? I bet you’re still beautiful and bouncy.  It’s been a while ne? Hisashiburi!’ Chinen murmured ‘Hisashiburi Ryu-chan.’

Ryutaro coughed in the video but he composed his self and continues his message.

‘Yuri, I’m happy for you. Happy that you found the one that will love you and the one that you will love back. I really want to be there and congratulate you or maybe the one who’ll be beside you during the celebration. I want to hug you tightly, to kiss your rosy cheeks again, to tickles you, to hear your laughter and to spend time with you but I know that is impossible. My squirrel, how much I wanted to be with you until we get old but time is cruel for us, sooner I’ll be gone, sooner I won’t be able to feel you but I’ll always stay beside you even though you can’t see me’

Ryutaro coughed hard and Yabu appeared in the video comforting Ryutaro.

Chinen looks to Yabu and the older one just nods to him.

‘I’m fine Yabu-kun’ Ryutaro said as he drinks his medicine. Ryutaro speaks again to the camera.

‘Sorry you need to see that Yuri. Yuri, I can’t be with you anymore but I hope you’ll be happy with your new family. Cherish them. Love your wife and your future kids and grandsons because I’ll come back to you and bring you with me, away from them. By that time, we’ll be together again if you still want to.’

Ryutaro got paler but he struggles to talk.

‘Can you convey my message to JUMP? JUMP, I also miss all of you guys! I miss Yama-chan and Yuto’s comfort and teases, I miss  Takaki-kun’s idiotness, I miss Inoo-chan’s lessons, I miss Keito’s care, I miss Dai-chan’s hyper-activeness, I miss Hikaru-kun and Yabu-kun’s parenting. I miss all of you! Please take care of one another. Stay strong. There’ll be a time that we’ll be together again and form our band.’

‘To my parents and siblings, thank you for sacrificing a lot for me. I may not be able to say this when I’m alive but I’m grateful to everything. I love all of you’

‘To all the fans that supported me until now, thank you’

‘To the wife of my Yuri, please love him forever’

‘And lastly to you my love, I’ll always be there watching you, protecting you and loving you. That's my last promise to you.
To my squirrel, to you Chinen Yuri, always be happy! I love you so much. I will always love you’

Ryutaro smiled one last time and the camera went off.

Everyone in the venue hall is crying, touched with the message of the person who died 5 years ago but his memories lingers to one of them.

Chinen is crying too, he looks back to the people in the reception and saw someone at the very back, smiling at him. “Ryutaro” Chinen mouthed. The figure nod and smiled and mouthed

‘I love you..’
