Hikaru finally got the courage to confess to Kei and as expected the pretty guy also feels the same about him. Hikaru is the happiest person when Kei accepted him; he can’t wait to tell it to his best friend.
“Kou-chan~ I gonna tell you something” Hikaru bounced his way to his best friend who is reading a magazine. Yabu then looked at Hikaru, seeing Hikaru’s happy face he knows what his best friend going to tell him. Even though his mind and heart is telling him to go out of the room he still stays knowing that his best friend is eager to tell him about his great news. “What is it, Hika-chan?” Yabu smiled.
“Kei already accepted my feelings~” Hikaru then beamed his best smile while blushing. Yabu felt his heart ache more “I told you Hika-chan nobody will refuse a great guy like you” Yabu continued pretending that he’s fine in front of his best friend.
“Arigatou Kou-chan, you’re the best best friend in the world” Hikaru then hugged Yabu. Yabu just let Hikaru hugged him while preventing his tears to fall; he doesn’t want Hikaru to know about his feelings. “Baka! Of course I’m your only best friend, Go to Kei and have a date don’t just stay here interrupting my free time” Yabu then let go of the hug and kissed Hikaru’s forehead. Hikaru then went off to find his boyfriend.
‘If this is the only way, if this is the only chance I can be with you by staying as your best friend, though it hurts I will always be by your side and support you my love’ Yabu thought while letting his tears flow looking at the close door of their dressing room.

“The 10 of you will be Hey!Say! JUMP, so work with everybody. Yabu-kun as the oldest I’ll take you in charge of everything.” Johnny announced to the 10 boys that is crowded in his office. Everyone is happy. Nakajima went on jumping with Keito who’s completely confused with the bouncy boy. Yamada, Chinen and Ryutaro exchanges smile. Takaki put his arms in Daiki’s shoulder and Hikaru hugged Kei. ‘It hurts’ Of course it hurts Yabu seeing his best friend hugging others. Before, Hikaru will be the one who’ll first hugged him when special announcement are made, but now he knows that he’s not the only person that Hikaru will look up to. Yabu just leave the other members on their own and he went to the old dressing room of Ya-Ya-Yah.
Hikaru is confused where his best friend went knowingthat their boss just announced a great news to them. Being Yabu’s best friend he knows that his best friend is bothered by soething so he decided to look after him.
“Babe, I’ll just find Yabu okay?” Hikaru then let go of Inoo. Hikaru never call Yabu his nickname when Inoo’s there, he knows how Inoo got jealous easily with the special friendship of him and Yabu.
Inoo didn’t hear what Hikaru is saying because he is focus with a certain boy. The quiet boy that is being pestered by the little kids of his new group. “Babe?” Hikaru then snapped Inoo from his thought “Oh, sorry Karu-chan~ what is it again?” Inoo poutedly replied using his cute ness to for hikaru not to noticed his thoughts. “ I said I’ll just find yabu, Is That Okay?” Hikaru asked again. “ Of course it’s fine, but don’t take long okay?” Inoo then let go of Hikaru.
Hikaru went out thinking where his best friend may be. Then he decided to call Yabu, hearing the familiar ring tone just across the corridor Hikaru concluded that Yabu is just near, he walked following the tone until he stopped in front of the old dressing room of Ya-ya-yah.
“Kou-chan? Hikaru called while entering the slightly dark place. He find the light switched and turn it on. There he found his best friend sleeping while hugging the picture of Ya-ya-yah, the four of them. It seems like Yabu has been crying while he reminisce his old group. Hikaru just let his best friend sleep and just put a blanket over his body. He just watched Yabu sleep until he also fell into deep slumber.

Yabu woke up realizing that it’s night already and he’s still in Jimusho, noticing that he’s sleeping to someone’s lap he immediately got up to find that the person is Hikaru.
Looking to Hikaru’s face he remember the first time he saw this boy, maybe it’s love at first sight. Those cheeks that make him beautiful, his steady breathing that makes Yabu calm, his eyes that flutter every time he’s curious and most especially his lips that makes Yabu want to taste it. Not realizing it Yabu leaned down to capture Hikaru’s lips, he can’t believe that he can taste those honey flavored lips. He wants to own Hikaru but he know he can’t, he just savor the moments he’s experiencing. Hikaru groaned when he feels something touching his lips, he just responded thinking it’s just a dream. Yabu then feel shocked when Hikaru answered his kiss, he suddenly stopped and hurriedly went out of the room. Hikaru feeling that the kiss was true suddenly open his eyes but then the one who kissed him is gone. “Who is that?” He said to himself. Realizing that he is alone in the room, he remembered that he’s with Yabu, how come Yabu left him there. He just shrugged and went home, he’ll just call Yabu later.

“What happened? Is he awake that time?” Yabu is now at the bus station thinking about what happened earlier. His phone suddenly ringed waking him up in reality. Hikaru is calling him, will he answer it?
“Hai, moshi moshi?” He answered it even though he is nervous.
“Kou-chaaaaaaan~, why did you leave me earlier? After I put you in my lap to make you comfortable” Yabu chuckled knowing that Hikaru is pouting in the other line.
“Hika-chan, You’re so cute while sleeping and I don’t have the heart to wake you up that’s why I just leave you alone” Yabu said
“Demo ne~ because you leave me someone took my first kiss while I’m sleeping!! What if that someone decided to rape me? What will you do?” Hikaru whined
Yabu gulped knowing that Hikaru is referring to him, he won’t let Hikaru know it’s him..but did he heard that right? That was Hikaru’s first kiss?
“KOUUUUUUU-CHHHHHHAAAAANNNNN~ why are you not answering? Are you guilty now because you leave me” Hikaru whined more. Yabu woke up from his dazed.
“ah gomen ne Hika-chan, I’ll just treat you tomorrow as my payment for leaving you, I need to go now” Yabu hurriedly say to Hikaru, He doesn’t want him to know that he’s the one who kissed him.
“Okay~ I’ll eat as many as I like, Yay! Kou-chan is the best. I love you, Bye Bye” Hikaru then ended their conversation. Yabu on the other hand is blushing with what Hikaru said to him. He knows that the ‘I love you’ Hikaru meant is the love for a friend but still Yabu wish that those words will have more profound meaning to Hikaru. He just sighs and entered the bus.

Tadaiki somehow ended up as one of the cutest pairings out of JUMP, including 7, which is weird cause they're both in the older group. XD
